Greatness

Greatness. Everyone strives for greatness. But it’s easier to watch other people be great. It’s hard to take the time and effort to achieve greatness. Because it’s easier to sit back. Put the energy in, don’t be average. It’s your choice if you’re “average”, your mindset needs to change. Don’t feel sorry for yourself. Go out and bloody do something. You want something? Not one person deserves to be handed something. Go out and get it.

Why can’t you be bill gates? Because you sacrificed working on your craft; for sleeping, partying, playing and most importantly chasing phantoms. What do I mean by chasing phantoms? You’re chasing girls and boys when you could be chasing your dreams, don’t sit there on your phone swiping right. Get up and go outside. Work. Work. Work. Bloody work. Start acting like today is your last day. Aim higher than you can reach.

Don’t wonder what you could have done. Instead wonder what you want to make of yourself. Ask yourself. Where do I want to be in the next coming years? What am I going to do now? Ask yourself this, how can I improve myself today? If you’re continuously taking the day by day to improve yourself. You will see results. If you’re better today than you are yesterday, you will see results. Now you don’t have to improve dramatically. But you can improve a little, and feel change. You aren’t successfully because every day you’ve made an excuse. Why can’t you do what you’re supposed to do? Because you’re not working hard enough.

Right now, you’re going to stop quitting. You will become great when you’re not afraid to do something that brings you out of your comfort zone. Don’t be comfortable, you cannot be comfortable.

How many of you have felt great, slumped on the couch? Compare that to the sensation of winning. Kicking the final goal to win? That feeling is what you should feel every single moment. You need to train your mind. You need to tell yourself, you can be great. Think great, be great. Simple. It seems to be very egoistic. But Lebron James, Rodger Federer, Gary Ablett, Lionel Messi. They did not become great by taking every day, “I’m just going to get through today”, no they got where they are because they said, “I am great”. I dare you to tell yourself you’re great.

So, after this, the next thing for you to do today. Is to change. Think you can be great.
